Inclusive Music Workshop 🎵

Expect Group Size: 4-6 young people

TIMETABLE:

• 6pm: meet and icebreakers

• 6.15pm: group game (les by sessional worker) that has a musical theme or instructs some basic musical ideas!

• 7pm: break

• 7.15pm: Focused instrument time! The young people head to their chosen instrument and go through some basic exercises (drums, guitar, bass guitar, or piano)

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: 1-2

Key Responsibilties:

• The session will be led by two sessional workers Liam and Emily - it would be really helpful if you were able to take part in their group activities and help lead by example to get young people involved!

• Musical experience would be helpful, but not a must - when breaking into small groups around an instrument, it would be really helpful if you coudl sit and work with young people through the exercises (which will all be in a book!)
