Skateboarding at Projekts

Skateboarding at Projekts

Expected Group: 4-8 young people

Our bi-weekly skate session at Projekts!

SESSION PLAN

Projekts very own skate expert Luke will lead a one-hour supported skate session - just join in, follow along, and encourage young people to do the same!

The final 30 minutes will be a free skate, where young people can roam about practicing their skills.

The big way you can help Luke out is to maybe offering to break into smaller groups based on confidence - for example, if Luke wants to show people how to go down a ramp and some aren’t confident enough, offer to stay with them and do some easier skateboarding somewhere else!

Most of all, just help make sure all young people are within eyesight and being safe - well, as safe as possible! Accidents are pretty likely, and will happen, so if someone falls (etc) let Luke know right away so he can get a first-aider!
