Pie Making
Cooking class teaching us all about pies!
Expected Group Size: 6-8 young people
Learn all about pie making at this fancy cooking lesson at The Black Friar! Known for it’s fantastic selection of pies, the restaurant’s professional chef will teach us all we need to know make the perfect pie!
Who’s supporting the session?
Timetable:
5.45pm: Meet outside the Black Friar tavern entrance
6pm: we’ll be taken from reception to the cooking area!
6-8pm: A professional chef will teach us all about PIES! Making the crust, chopping the vegetables, and preparing the meat (if you are making a meaty pie, vegetarian options available)
No cooking experience needed - Naomi and Liam and our volunteers will available to help you out with anything you need!
8pm: Home Time
What To Bring?
Everything provided so nothing special to bring!
Dietary / Allergy Info?
Allergens: recipes will contain dairy products and wheat
The meat is not halal, but you can make a vegetarian pie
There is no option for a vegan pie sadly
Accessibility Info
The main pub will be possibly a bit busy and loud, but we’ll only be walking through it to the cooking area, which will be quieter!
There will be soft background music, and a bit of chat
There will be 6-8 other young people, and about 4 staff members
There will indoor lighting
There is sadly no wheelchair access
There is a no separate chill out zone
